I have worked in the financial services sector for over 15 years, most currently as Vice President of Small Commercial at Arch Insurance Group. I have a  property and casualty license, am a chartered property casuatly underwriting designee, hold an MBA in Management from the University of Hartford and BA in Psychology and Sociology from Connecticut College. 

Being passionate about community betterment, I have been an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Northern New England, Friends of Simsbury Farms, Girl Scouts, CPCU Society, and other local organizations. I have held numerous leadership roles in social impact organizations such as Prospanica Connecticut, a non-profit business association, where I served as the President of their Board of Directors. I have also been co-chair for the Insurance Professional Women’s Network, participated on the Connecticut College Hale Center for Career Development Advisory Board, and was Chair of the Hispanic Leadership Network. 

I live in Simsbury with my husband of 14 years, our 9-year-old daughter, and our two friendly dogs. We enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and hosting our family and friends.
